Amnesty - The Death of the Republican Party

Obama's plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt to increase the number of Democrat voters. It is well known that the vast majority of illegal aliens will vote Democrat. Testifying to that fact are the illegals themselves. When facing deportation or other criminal actions, illegals invariably declare that Obama will protect them.

A Texas federal judge has temporarily blocked President Barack Obama's executive action on immigration. This allows a group of conservative states to file a lawsuit to permanently stop the orders. At a January hearing, U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen put on hold Obama's executive orders. Currently, there are 5 million illegals facing deportation. Hanen wrote that without a preliminary injunction the states will "suffer irreparable harm in this case." He commented further, saying that "... legalizing the presence of millions of people is a "virtually irreversible" action..".

If even one fifth of the 5 million illegals facing deportation were to be registered as Democrats it would add 1 million voters to the Democrat party. This would present the Republicans with an insurmountable obstacle in the election process. It might well be enough to turn some rock solid Republican states such as Texas into Democrat strongholds.

If the Republicans allow Obama to succeed in his efforts to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, legitimate Americans will have to look elsewhere for representation in our governments. The Republican Party will become little more than a gasping body on terminal life support.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that the fate of a nation hangs in the balance. A socialist Democrat super majority at the polls would eliminate any possibility of representative government. The "loyal opposition" would cease to exist. The America our founders dreamed of and fought for would become only a memory.
